The collective Por Elos, made up of students from the performing arts course at the University of Brasília (UnB), premiered, last Friday (9), the show “Por Elise”. The original text of the play, which talks about encounters and everyday situations, is by the Brazilian playwright Grace Passô.

There are two words to describe the show: breathtaking and sensitive. The premise may seem simple, but the actors manage to convey different sensations to the audience with mastery. To watch “Por Elise”, you have to be prepared to laugh and cry several times, being enchanted by the subtlety that exists in each scene is inevitable.

A differential of the play is the constant contact with the audience, which, at a certain point, becomes part of the staging. “Every day there are dozens of different people. So, the play changes according to the audience, with the bodies that are acting”, says Paula Otero, one of the actresses in the cast.

In addition to UnB, the collective will pass through Gama and the South Commercial Sector. The responsible director, Jennifer Jacomini, talks about the importance of taking the show beyond the Plano Piloto. “It is a very good experience for us as an artist to have this diversity of audience and to reach spaces that, many times, the cultural offer does not reach”, she says.
